Goodbye Emily.
Most readers of Goodbye Emily enjoy reading a Woodstock love story, but when I began the novel, my focus wasn’t on the musical event. I wanted to write a story with a main character in his early sixties portraying baby boomers the way I see us— funny, idealistic as we were in the sixties, sexually active and optimistic about the future. And baby boomers can still fall in love.
I was a tad too young for Woodstock, but I had teenage sisters who brought the music, the tie-dye & the psychedelic into our lives. GOODBYE EMILY sounds like it will be a fabulous read. Loving the cover too.
Many readers are surprised to find Goodbye Emily to be such a funfilled lover story since it’s about three baby boomers reliving their trip to Woodstock in ’69, but from the reviews it worked.
Thanks for being with us today, Michael. GOODBYE EMILY really sounds like a book of your heart!
Goodbye Emily sounds like a great story of healing and self-discovery. And there should never be an age limit on falling in love
It’s definitely a great message!
Michael, I finished Goodbye Emily Saturday night and loved it. I think this is your best yet. To me it’s like a coming of age story for middle-aged men–very healing and you touch on issues many avoid. I hope it becomes a best seller!
This sounds like my kind of book Michael. I can’t wait to read it.
Hi Michael,
So nice to have you here with us today! I t sounds like you’ve written the book of your heart!
I like your protagonist already, Michael! He strikes me as still a rebel at heart, and I hope to read about his journey soon.
